Quick Tips on Writing a Blog Post

Sharing Information – This Is What Makes Great Blog Posts
Keep your post from becoming a hard sell sell sell for your product. It should be treated as a platform for sharing wisdom, experience (war stories) and suggestions. People are usually turned off at the first sense that someone is ONLY trying to sell them something. You have valuable information to share. If you are sincere and your information is truly valuable, your audience will pay attention.
If You Must Sell, Make It Subtle
Instead of sounding like a marketing page from your website, simply link a word or two to your website. But even this sometimes isn’t necessary. If you’ve hooked your audience, they will find out who you are and where you sell your wares. Also include other credible resources inside your text. This is an opportunity to build credibility and demonstrate to your reader that you belong to a larger community. As much as people enjoy connecting to information and stories they can benefit from, they also like to click around. If you’ve truly won their attention and gained their trust, they’ll find you, eventually.
Blog posts are a great place to find your voice and start conversations with folks who might be listening. Send me your posts! Would be happy to take a look.
